If your Andersen sliding screen door is sticking, scraping, or just not gliding like it used to, it's probably time to swap out the rollers.

This kit gives you two pairs – that's upper and lower rollers for two doors, or a full set for one door with spares.

They're designed to fit Andersen 200 Series Perma-Shield Gliding, 200 Series Narroline Gliding, 400 Series Frenchwood Hinged and Gliding, and A-Series Gliding patio doors – basically a bunch of Andersen models manufactured from 1991 up to now.

These replace part numbers #1997063 (upper) and #1997310 (lower), so if those are the ones you need, you're in luck.

The wheels are 1-1/4 inch nylon with a concave shape that tracks perfectly in the door frame.

Installation is refreshingly simple – no tools needed.

The housing has two tabs that lock right under the frame to hold everything in place.

The edge adjustment arm lets you tweak the height with a flathead screwdriver, so you can get the alignment just right for smooth operation.

Pro tip: It's a good idea to replace both upper and lower rollers at the same time – they wear together, and doing both at once saves you from having to tear into it again later.

Just make sure the door is secure while you work and be careful not to scratch the glass.
