This Woodstock W1168 spacer is a simple but useful little part for anyone who owns a shaper.
It's got a 3/4-inch inside diameter and a 1-1/4-inch outside diameter, with a height of 1 inch.
It's designed specifically for 3/4-inch spindles, letting you position your cutters exactly where you want them on the shaft.
You can use these spacers in between cutters to adjust the cutting height, or stack them above the cutter to press up against the spindle nut for a secure hold.
If you do any sort of shaping work – raised panels, decorative edges, or custom moldings – having a few of these on hand is a must.
They give you the flexibility to dial in the exact setup without having to buy multiple dedicated cutters.
