If you do any kind of routing on end grain – think rail ends, drawer fronts, or any narrow stock – this WoodRiver coping sled is a total lifesaver.

It's one of the safest ways to handle those tricky pieces because it holds the workpiece captive with a beefy toggle clamp against a sacrificial fence.

That means your fingers stay far, far away from the spinning router bit.

The clear 17-inch fence guide runs along your router fence (not a miter slot), so it's compatible with pretty much any table setup.

And you get four positions on that guide to perfectly space the sled away from the bit.

There are also spacers to adjust for your table fence height, which is a super nice touch.

You can clamp material up to 1-1/8" thick and 6" wide, and the handles are positioned on both sides for total control.

The whole kit comes with the sled, a sacrificial backing board, the toggle clamp, handles, and a hardware pack.

It's from Woodcraft, who've been in the game since 1928, so you know it's quality.

This thing just makes routing small parts feel so much less sketchy, and it gives you clean, accurate results every single time.

If you're into woodworking, this sled is seriously a no-brainer.
