Caw! Caw! Or the Chronicle of Crows, A Tale of the Spring Time is an 1848 book by R.M., published by Grant & Griffith in London.
Public Domain Review describes it as "A rather sad tale, told in rhyme, of a group of crows who lose some of their family members due to a farmer who decides to rid himself of the birds." The illustrator is believed to be Jemima Blackburn, a noted Scottish illustrator of birds of the time.
