Use the data import tool to copy files from Microsoft SharePoint Online to your organization's Google Workspace account. The service doesn't delete or modify existing files or folders but copies them to the user's account in Workspace. Not all SharePoint Online features are supported.

Multiple shareable links
|
Anyone links import as Anyone with the link links. People in your organization links import as domain-based link permissions. People you choose links import as user permissions. An item in Workspace can only have one shareable link. When multiple links to the same item import, the service uses the most restrictive sharing setting. For example, if a SharePoint Online link is shared with Writer and Reviewer permissions, the link imports to Workspace with Viewer permission. |
| Files shared with external users |
Shared with the same users in Workspace. External users also receive email notifications when new files or folders are shared with them. You don't need to include external users in the identity map. |
