The scale—35,000 people in person and millions watching the keynote—was incredible. And my legs are still recovering from 30,000+ steps a day—but what’s staying with me isn’t just the tech or the miles… it’s the moments. The real highlight? The people. Those moments don’t make the keynote, but they’re the ones that stick. It’s the people who bring technology to life—and make it matter. The pride on my customers' faces as they walk onto the stage, ready to share their story. The trust built in small moments—introductions, conversations, simply showing up to support their ideas. Connecting them with the right partners who can help move those ideas forward. Walking side by side between sessions, where quick chats turn into something deeper. And that spark of shared curiosity when a new capability finally clicks. These moments are a reminder that as much as it is about the technology, it’s also about what people do with it—how they solve real problems, help others, and create something that didn’t exist before. If I were to summarise it in one sentence this is what stood out for me - Google is now the only player delivering a complete, top to bottom AI stack. From the TPU 8i hardware all the way up to the new Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. They have built a vertical that covers the entire agent lifecycle. They made 260+ announcements last week, but the real story is that Agentic AI is finally hitting maturity. If you are an enterprise leader working with point AI solution vendors right now, you need to ask them one blunt question: What does our 5 year AI roadmap look like with you? If they can't give you a clear answer on how their agents integrate with your core data or scale over that horizon, you aren’t building a strategy. You are just stacking up architectural debt. You’re building a prototype that’s going to break by Q3. The industry is moving fast. It was great to connect with the Google team and so many forward thinking business leaders. A few things that genuinely excited me as someone who builds in this space: 🤖 Enterprise Agent Platform This one landed hard. Build, Scale, Govern, all in one place. Agent Studio, Agent Registry, Skills and Tools Registry, Agent Marketplace, A2A Orchestration (both generative and deterministic patterns), Agent Identity, Gateway, and Observability. This is the infrastructure layer agentic AI has been missing. The pieces exist. Now there's a cohesive blueprint. 💡 Gemini Enterprise Not just a model upgrade. Positioned as the new front door to AI for every employee and every workflow. Projects coming soon. This signals something bigger about how AI gets embedded into how organizations actually operate day to day. 📊 Agentic Data Cloud This one hits closest to home for me. Knowledge Catalog as a universal context engine. Data Agent Kit bringing Gemini-powered data engineering into the tools data practitioners already use. MCP support for BigQuery and the broader Google Cloud ecosystem. For anyone building data pipelines or agentic RAG systems, this changes what's possible. And the line that stuck with me most from the keynote: "The era of pilots is over." Not the era of AI. The era of small experiments that never ship. The expectation now is real production systems, real business value, real accountability. The customer stories: Liverpool's shopping assistant, Home Depot’s Magic Apron, NASA's Artemis 2 work, made that concrete. These aren't demos. These are live.
