Respect for Intellectual Property

Cursors-4U respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on Cursors-4U infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work – Describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or provide a list if multiple works are involved.
  • Identification of the infringing material – Provide the URL(s) or other specific location of the material you believe is infringing.
  • Your contact information – Include your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Statement of good faith belief – A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of accuracy – A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • Your signature – A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

Our Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the content provider, if known, that the material has been removed
  • Provide the content provider with information about how to submit a counter-notification

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement consenting to jurisdiction in your local federal court
  • Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material within 10-14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us of a court action.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Good Faith Warning

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability. If you are unsure whether content infringes your copyright, please consult with an attorney before submitting a notice.
